Job Description:
Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Combo
Welder role in Sherwood, OR. Our client is a well-established

every stage of their manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on a variety of metals,
including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum . Read and
interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings to
ensure accurate welds. Set up and adjust welding equipment,
torches, and tools for different projects. Fabricate, cut, and
assemble metal components according to engineering specifications .
Conduct weld inspections using visual and measuring techniques to
ensure structural integrity and quality standards . Work with
grinders, plasma cutters, and other metalworking tools to prepare
and finish welds. Maintain a safe and organized workspace ,
following all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies .
Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and assembly teams to
complete projects efficiently. Qualifications & Skills: Proven
experience as a Combo Welder in heavy equipment, structural, or
industrial manufacturing . Proficiency in MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW),
and Stick (SMAW) welding . Ability to work with structural steel,
sheet metal, and other alloys . Strong ability to read and
interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols . Familiarity
with weld testing procedures, such as visual inspections, X-ray, or
ultrasonic testing (UT), is a plus . Skilled in grinding, cutting,
and metal preparation techniques . Ability to lift 50 lbs and work
in various positions, including standing, kneeling, and overhead
welding . Preferred Qualifications: Welding certification (AWS,
ASME, or similar) is strongly preferred. Experience working in
heavy equipment manufacturing or structural fabrication .
Familiarity with robotic welding systems and automated fabrication
