Resources team as an Environmental Permitting Specialist and help
drive projects that support infrastructure, transportation, and
housing development while protecting the environment every step of
the way. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team of scientists,
planners, and engineers and help our clients navigate complex
regulatory requirements from start to finish. What You’ll Do Gather
and prepare online background maps and data to support field
investigations. Conduct wetland delineations, ordinary high-water
delineations, riparian habitat assessments, mitigation monitoring,
and other related field data collection throughout Oregon. Prepare
DSL and USACE Wetland Delineation Reports. Prepare Natural Resource
Assessment reports to support compliance with local jurisdictional
requirements. Coordinate and communicate effectively with
coworkers, clients, permitting agency staff, and other project team
members. Support multiple projects simultaneously and do what needs
to be done to meet project goals, schedules, and budgets. Who You
Are Bachelor’s degree in wetland ecology, forest ecology,
environmental science or biology, botany, soils, or a closely
related field. Experience conducting wetland and waters
delineations using the Regional Supplement to the Corps of
Engineers Wetland Delineation Manual: Western Mountains, Valleys,
and Coast Region. Experience conducting fieldwork throughout
Oregon. Basic wildlife and plant identification skills. Strong
written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with common
professional software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word,
Excel, Outlook), and familiarity with scheduling or presentation
tools. Ability to work independently and collaboratively while
managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Willingness and ability
to travel and work long days in the field. Takes personal
responsibility for delivering quality work within established
budgets and timelines. Nice to Have General understanding of
jurisdictional wetlands and waters in Oregon. Self-motivated,
team-oriented mindset with a desire to support a growing firm.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making
skills. Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities with minimal
