Job Description:
Regional Sales Manager This Regional Director role is
responsible for overall commercial strategy, execution, and
clinical performance across an assigned region. The position
partners closely with senior commercial leadership to drive revenue
growth, field execution, and organizational excellence.
Responsibilities: Develop and execute commercial strategy in
partnership with U.S. and global sales leadership to support
revenue planning and achievement. Lead, manage, and scale
high-performing sales teams across the region. Design and optimize
territory alignment and pricing strategies. Hire, train, coach, and
direct field sales representatives to achieve annual sales
objectives. Ensure strong selling skills and account management
execution through structured follow-up on development plans and
performance goals. Provide hands-on coaching to develop talent and
implement targeted action plans to address performance gaps.
Partner with Marketing to gather and analyze market insights,
competitive intelligence, and emerging trends impacting the
business. Drive adoption of new product offerings and serve as a
field resource during product development, launch, and evaluation
phases. Collaborate with Commercial Operations to support local,
regional, and national contracting strategies that expand sales
opportunities. Recommend pricing strategies and ensure adherence to
established margin guidelines. Represent the organization at
national and regional industry events as appropriate. Build and
maintain strategic relationships with key opinion leaders and
priority customer accounts. Promote and evaluate the effectiveness
of educational and training initiatives within the region. Engage
with clinical stakeholders and decision-makers to support adoption
and appropriate utilization. Manage and monitor the regional sales
expense budget, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum 5 years of
medical device sales experience . Minimum 3 years of sales
leadership experience with direct revenue responsibility.
Demonstrated success in a startup or growth-stage environment .
Experience within procedural or interventional medical markets
(e.g., pain management, orthopedics, spine, surgical environments).
Proven ability to set goals, execute strategy, and deliver results.
Ability to travel extensively ( 60% ).
