Job ID: J-00297037Introduction to the jobASML is a high-tech lithography equipment manufacturer within the semiconductor industry that enables the worlds leading microchip companies to produce more powerful, faster and energy efficient microchips used in consumer products such as laptops, tablets, and smart devices that we all use every day!ASMLs supply chain division is continuously aiming to better serve our customers through on-time deliveries, first time quality and high performing lithography machines. This division is instrumental in supporting the installation of new machines, upgrading and enhancing existing machines and relocating machines for our customers. These machines are highly complex and operated in a cleanroom environment creating extremely demanding requirements for the supply chain processes, driven by the sensitivity of the parts (cleanroom handling only), the strict needs to minimize machine downtime and the constantly changing specifications of machines. The goal is to establish a true field factory set-up allowing the engineers to perform the installation, upgrade and relocation with maximum efficiency and minimum downtime.This role will prepare and manage the customer supply chain to install, upgrade and relocate ASMLs newest cutting-edge EUV/EXE lithography machines. Therefore, we are looking for very ambitious talent who demonstrates leadership skills and would thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, challenging, and highly matrixed organization. Lead the supply-chain activities for upgrades, installations and relocation events in the region by being an integral part of the engineering and technical cross-functional project team. Gather ASML and the customer requirements to ensure that the high-tech machine modules, tools, parts and materials, meet required specifications, first time quality and are delivered on-time to the customer site. In between events, identify supply chain gaps, lead development of performance indicators, initiate and drive continuous improvement projects to optimize supply chain KPIs.Role and responsibilitiesCommunicate in a matrixed organization, proactively identify supply gaps, develop an action plan to mitigate gapIdentify the need to escalate and follow escalation path in a timely mannerDecipher demand and determine best viable options to meet needs in a supply constrained environmentCreative real-time problem solving under extreme pressure and urgent timelineAbility to complete a root cause analysis to develop a systemic solutionsAnalyze, global supply forecast against local customer Demand & Supply planning to ensure on-time and complete material-availability at customer siteAbility to follow and implement standard processes but adapt as the business environment changesCollaborate with the supply chain site lead to adapt to customer and site specific needsInfluence change to the supply planning for your customer site when the demand analysis doesnt align with global supply projections.Drive competence and standardization within the Customer Supply Chain roadmap for EXE installs and upgradesPartner with the key stakeholders, project leaders, engineering and account teams, and central teams to influence the action and results required.Develop operational plan supporting the event in the field, i.e. material demand & supply, people and resources, local constraints and infrastructureExecute plan while closely monitoring, evaluating and reporting performance KPIs to stakeholdersIdentify, initiate and collaborate to drive improvementsWork closely with 3PL, dock coordinators, and the In-Fab Logistics team to manage all material-flows to, from and inside the customer factoryEducation and experienceBachelors Degree (e.g. Industrial Engineering & Management Science, Business Administration, Supply chain or Engineering) or equivalent.Experience:1+ years of relevant field experience in a complex customer oriented (logistics) environment.Bachelors in Business Engineering or Supply Chain required, or equivalent experience acceptedKnowledge of business complexity, supply chain and/or relevant industry.SkillsAnalytical and able to organize and prioritize workloadLeadership skills, drive for results, act under high pressureResult oriented, influential, pro-active and can do mentalityCultural awareness and dexterity - ASML and our customers are multi-cultural.Ambitious talent with a proven track record relevant for this positionPragmatic / hands-on mentalityAbility to maintain composure and perform under intense pressure and short timelinesProven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads.Resourceful understanding problems before seeking solutionsAdaptable and flexible when dealing with ambiguous situationsDemonstrate open, clear, concise and excellent professional communication in EnglishStrong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism.Other informationThis position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.).
