This position is part of Genentech's Pharma Technical (PT) and
Hillsboro Individualized Therapies (HIT) delivering a fast-evolving
portfolio of new Cell & Gene Therapy (CGT) products to bring new
curative treatments to patients. This portfolio of new products
comes with the great promise to bring unprecedented medical
advances to patients but also presents unique challenges: living
products (e.g. cells/tissue) that need to be delivered to patients
in highly personalized supply chain models, and meet fast
turn-around-times at a zero-error quality level. The HIT Master
Data Senior Analyst functions as a critical player Master Data
(SAP, OEM, and other related SCM technologies) processes to
facilitate the roll-out and execution of multiple modalities,
clinical and commercial, in the Hillsboro Individualized Therapies
(HIT) facility.
Note: this position may be hired as a Senior or Principal,
depending on candidate experience.
Responsibilities:
Define, Design & Implementation of HIT Master Data Management:
* Master Data Management is to manage, investigate, and resolve
data quality issues across enterprise applications at HIT
* Standards & Guidelines - Define Design of Bill of Material (BOM),
Recipes and Production - create and maintain material master and
depending objects within plan, source, make and deliver in
accordance with defined procedures
* Active participants designing new IT infrastructure landscape
* Design scalable SAP ERP solutions in collaboration with OEM,
ASPIRE and IT teams to roll out different modalities at HIT
* Devise the strategy to migrate HIT from the current R3P SAP ECC
solution to the ASPIRE S4 HANA solution in line with ASPIRE program
timelines
* Training of relevant users at HIT on SCM and Master Data
processes
* Maintain a strong collaboration with key stakeholders
globally
* Represent HIT within the Master Data Domain in CGT MDM Community
and PT Data Community of Practice
* Lead in preventing data quality issues by identifying frequent
user errors, and working with business units to strengthen user
competence
* Influence and consult senior management. Develop solutions to
complex process-related problems requiring the regular use of
ingenuity and innovation
* Work autonomously with minimal supervision. May lead or
contribute with skills to projects/squads
* Develop technical and/or procedural solutions to a variety of
complex problems and initiatives
* Coach colleagues and help others develop technological
expertise/skills. Navigate complex situations by applying a diverse
skill set
Data Maintenance & Support of HIT Master Data Management:
* Perform update of Bill of Material (BOM), Recipes and Production
version via Change Order process
* Ensure compliance in procedures and daily operation
* Provide training and guidance to colleagues on master data and
business processes
* Support IT systems development/enhancement to the extent
required
* Provide input to SOP's and WI's (Work Instruction)
* Execute on the established processes to enter and manage master
data in the HIT ERP application in line with Atheros (Orchestration
Platform) and organization-wide MDM strategy
* Manage plant product master data requirements
* Support relevant deviation management and change management for
HIT

Job Qualifications, Experience & Education:
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain,
engineering, or equivalent
* 5-10+ years of experience in Master Data Management
* Preferred 2+ years experience as Team Lead/Supervisor
* Experience in Material Life Cycle Management with focus on Master
Data Maintenance
* Ability to think broadly and facilitate cross-functional business
process
* Excellent knowledge of gSuite tools
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills to varied stakeholder
audiences
* Team player with demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and
ability to motivate colleagues
* Service-oriented mindset
* Strong collaborator in a multicultural environment
* Experience in multi-national project environments
* Ability to operate in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment,

decisions on the business
