FST Technical Services was founded in 1984 to serve the needs of
the growing, worldwide and industries. We began as an independent
interface between our clients and their subcontractors to establish
build clean installation methods that satisfied internal
specifications and conformed to regulatory requirements.

Manufacturing Equipment Technician:
Performs on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing
Troubleshoots equipment problems; maintains records and reports as
required; coordinates activities with peers, supervisor(s) and
customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions; orders
and installs parts; responds to emergency service calls as
required; and instructs customer operating technicians on system
operation and maintenance.
Remain current on equipment/tools through appropriate training,
manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials.
Incumbents are responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and security
of company property including vehicles, tools, etc. Employees must
also maintain standards of conduct acceptable to both employer and
customers to maintain credentials for being on customer
Dismantle, adjust, repair, modify, upgrade, and assemble equipment
according to layout plans blueprints operating or repair manuals
rough sketches or drawings.
Perform setup calibration and preventative maintenance on
production equipment. Preform calibrations in the field and in the
lab to verify correct operations of meters, probes, Calipers,
micrometers, and handheld instruments.
Effectively pack and ship calibrated instruments to other

Work in confined clean room environment spaces for extended periods

Spend most time greater than 90 percent less break time on the
manufacturing floor working on tool sets walking 3-5 miles a day
and/or standing or sitting for 9 hours.
Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and ability to lift/carry
objects up to 50 pounds is required. The position may require the
use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety
procedures when working with one or more dangerous element or
conditions such as chemicals, electric currents, or high voltage,
moving mechanical parts, radiation, in constructions sites,

equipment, etc on an as need basis.
Associates degree in electronics, engineering, or other applicable
field of study. Previous experience in maintenance, repair, and
troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment is a plus but
not required. Excellent customer interface skills are required.
Mechanical and electrical aptitude is required as well as an
ability to use appropriate tools. Thorough understanding of
technical issues involving the maintenance, repair and/or
installation of company equipment and company procedures.
Candidate must possess a STEM Science or Technology or Engineering
or Mathematics or associates degree or bachelor's degree or
Mechanical or Technical certification or related semiconductor
manufacturing with 6+ months experience or equivalent military
6+ months of experience in electrical and/or mechanical measuring
devices such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, calipers, and/or
