Job Description:

Schedule:

• Length of coverage: 3-6 months
• The candidate will work four 10-12-hour days per week if assigned to the OR and three 12-13-hour shifts if assigned to the ICU.
• The ICU does include overnights in house.
• The provider will have a 1 in 4 or 5 weekend responsibility. (On call from 6p Friday to 6a Monday)
• Surgical call responsibility: 1-2 weekdays per week from 6P-6A.
• Provider must be able to act independently in the OR, harvest veins, and operate in a high acuity ICU setting.Details:
  • Volume of Cardiac Surgery Division: 7 adult surgeons and 32 APPs; 1,600 pump cases are handled per year; Perform all cardiac surgery procedures except transplant
  • Candidate working at one/multiple locations/settings: one location only
  • Number of residents/fellows: None
