Officer Work Hours: 40-42.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 7:45
AM - 5:00 PM), occasional weekends, after-hours, and on-call
rotation

Position SummaryAs a Professional Services Systems Engineer, you
will take on senior-level technical projects, overseeing the
architecture, implementation, and optimization of complex IT
infrastructure and cloud solutions. You will serve as a trusted
advisor, solving high-level technical challenges, ensuring
operational excellence, and leading enterprise-scale IT projects
from initiation to completion.This highly technical and strategic
role requires expertise in modern IT infrastructure, cloud
solutions, networking, automation, and security, along with strong
problem-solving and client-facing skills. You will be expected to
drive innovation, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with
clients and internal teams to build high-performance, scalable, and
secure IT environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnology Architecture & Project
Leadership:
- Lead end-to-end enterprise IT projects, ensuring successful
implementation within defined scope, timeline, and budget.
- Define project objectives, risk assessments, and implementation
strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Design, implement, and optimize high-availability
infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments.
- Create technical documentation, diagrams, and project roadmaps
for complex deployments.
- Ensure full compliance with security policies, industry
standards, and regulatory requirements.Network & Infrastructure
Engineering:
- Architect, deploy, and maintain advanced networking
environments, including multi-site configurations, SD-WAN, VLAN
segmentation, and high-speed routing.Cloud & Virtualization:
- Design and manage large-scale cloud deployments on Microsoft
Azure and Microsoft 365, ensuring seamless integration and
scalability.
- Lead Microsoft Cloud migration projects, from planning to
execution and post-migration optimization.
- Deploy, secure, and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), hybrid
cloud environments, and on-premises cloud solutions.Security,
Compliance & Disaster Recovery:
- Define and enforce cybersecurity policies, vulnerability
management, and SIEM implementation.
- Configure firewalls, access controls, multi-factor
authentication (MFA), and endpoint security solutions.
- Develop comprehensive disaster recovery (DR) plans, including
failover testing, business continuity strategies, and ransomware
mitigation.Technical Leadership & Collaboration:
- Serve as a technical escalation point for complex
troubleshooting and enterprise IT challenges.
- Mentor and support L1-L3 engineers, promoting a culture of
knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic insights on emerging technologies, industry
trends, and best practices for IT modernization.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure
engineering, MSP, IT project delivery, or enterprise IT
operations.
- Expert-level hands-on experience with:
- Windows Server & Client OS
- PowerShell/Scripting for automation
- Microsoft Azure & cloud architecture
- Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, security
policies)
- Active Directory Management & hybrid identity solutions
- Enterprise-grade firewalls, switching, and routing
- SAN/storage solutions & high-availability systems
- Server hardware, virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, Proxmox)
- Backup technologies & disaster recovery strategies
- Certificate Services & encryption
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills to
bridge technical and business discussions.
- Proven ability to lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and
collaborate across a team.Preferred Qualifications
- Industry certifications such as:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- CompTIA Security+
- ITIL Foundation or equivalent ITSM experience
- Experience in large-scale enterprise cloud migrations and
hybrid Microsoft systems architecture.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, threat hunting, and
cybersecurity incident response.
