Job Description:

Weyerhaeuser's Snow Peak operation, based out of Lebanon, OR has an opening for a Processor Operator. We are seeking individuals who desire to work safely in a market-focused logging environment. This is a full-time hourly position. Hourly employees at this operation are represented by the IAM-AW Union. Benefits (in accordance with the current Labor Agreement) include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k plans, vacation, and holidays. Rate of pay is $36.685 per hour. Key Functions: Able to safely and competently fulfill all processing responsibilities to include the ability to process/manufacture and sort stems to the required standards, implement new operating software developments, quickly respond to different bucking directions as market changes, and required record keeping Process stems on and off the road under various yarding systems while being able to safely operate the processor on various slopes and soils Able to perform and assist on equipment inspections and fully support and participate in preventative maintenance procedures and routine maintenance repairs as they develop Demonstrated commitment to safety High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Two years of experience operating a processor Competent, qualified, and able to work independently and/or as a team member About Timberlands We believe trees are a remarkable resource that can and should be managed responsibly to make a range of products that meet human needs, while also providing recreation, wildlife habitat, and other important ecosystem benefits.
