- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a machinist
- Experience with MasterCAM or other CAM software required.
- Knowledge of Mazak, Doosan, HAAS, and Fanuc CNC controls
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical
drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot
CNC machine issuesResponsibilities of a CNC Machinist:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining
operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to
determine the dimensions and tolerances of the finished
product
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to
ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as
micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Maintain machinery by performing routine maintenance and
troubleshooting issuesEssential Job Functions for a CNC Machinist:
- Proficiently operate one or more of the following CNC controls:
Mazak, Doosan, HAAS, and Fanuc
- Utilize MasterCAM or other CAM software for programming and
generating tool paths
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working
environment
