Position Details:
Title: Machinist
Locations: Hillsboro, OR
Shift: 2nd shift, 2:25 PM - 10:45 PM
Compensation: $22 - $27 an hour, plus 10% shift differential

Position Description: The job involves setting up and operating CNC and Manual mills, lathes, and grinding machines based on blueprints and work instructions. You will be involved in producing parts, conducting inspections to ensure quality, and installing parts accurately. You will also be responsible for cleaning and preparing parts for the next operation, performing quality checks, and following proper sequencing of operations. Additionally, the job requires using an ERP system for part specifications and minor machine maintenance. Collaboration with CAD/CAM technicians or engineers for machining instructions is essential.

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED
- 4+ years' experience working in a lathe or machinery environment
- Ability to read blueprints
- Working knowledge of GD&T
- Basic ability to use a computer to check email, write reports, and enter data
