Job Details

Specialty: -Radiology Technician -
Schedule: -4 (10 hr shifts with 1 weekday off)
Order Type: -8 weeks

-Job Description
- Assist patients to and from the exam room explaining what is going to happen and answering any questions
- Help patients be comfortable and ensure proper protection is in place
- Review physician orders to ensure complete exam information, preparation requirements, and coding compliance needs are met
- Consult with Radiologist when necessary
- Follow infection control policies and organize and disinfect work area and equipment
  
  Radiology Technologist Requirements
  - Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from JRCERT approved college or technical program; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in hospital radiologic environment, including CT, preferred.
  - Current licensing by the State of Kansas
  - BLS and/or ACLS certification within 6 months of hire (hospital-provided class)
