• Welder/Fitter position - will use .052 flux-core wire to weld heavy steel in the manufacturing of large, industrial machinery.
• Will be welding in a variety of positions mostly horizontal and flat. Fitting is not a must have on day 1, but relevant experience in fitting is ideal or must be learned over time.
• Must be proficient welding in a vertical position, and will use shop tools (cutting torches, grinders, etc) as well as basic welding tools - tape measure, slag hammer etc.
• Blueprint reading ability is a must have, along with a strong familiarity with weld symbols.Would like someone who has the potential, experience, or skills, and desire to become a lead. Open to entry level welders who have experience from school or have welded through personal hobbies, and willing to train up/develop their skills.Schedule: Monday - Friday 5am - 3:30pmAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Must pass 3G weld test.Blueprint reading.Must have their own welding gear.Must be able to wear a respirator per OSHA regulations.
