As a Piping Detailer/Designer, you will be working in one of these market sectors: Commercial Buildings (healthcare, higher education, mission critical, and retail), Advanced Technology (semiconductor manufacturing, renewable energy), or Industrial (pulp and paper manufacturing). Find out more at www.harder.com.What you'll be doing:You will work with the project team and peers to create detailed mechanical piping models, layouts, drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM) reports, and isometric spool drawings. You will be responsible for using 2D and 3D modeling software to create drawings that detail the project scope. This mid level role supports the BIM team in identifying design issues, and problem-solving. Piping Detailers/Designers at Harder perform the following daily tasks:

• Create detailed mechanical piping models, layouts, and drawings
• Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) reports
• Create isometric spool drawings
• Produce complex geometrical forms
• Identify design issues
• Provide virtual simulations in 3D
• Problem solve with peers and teammates to ensure constructabilityWhat you will need to be successful in this role:
  • Demonstrated experience in AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, and 3D Modeling software (Autodesk products preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Plant 3D software Education/Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience with strong 3D piping knowledge
    • Process Piping Detailing experience
    • Demonstrated experience in high-tech tool install process piping systemsBenefits
