Salesforce Administrator - Position is not remote - Astoria
Queens Office QSAC is a New York City and Long Island based
nonprofit that supports children and adults with autism, together
with their families, in achieving greater independence, realizing
their future potential, and contributing to their communities in a
meaningful way by offering person-centered services. QSAC pursues
this mission through direct services that provide a supportive and
individualized setting for children and adults with autism to
improve their communication, socialization, academic, and
functional skills.Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and
detailed Salesforce guru to join the QSAC IT team. This position
will require strong skills in Salesforce reporting and experience
in workflows/process builder.This position would be located at our
Astoria office. Travel might be required to programs in Manhattan
and Long Island.This position is not remote.This position is 70-90K
annually dependent on experienceAdditional job responsibilities
include, but are not limited to:
- Gather and strategize enhancement requests and implement
meaningful updates to the system, including (but not limited to)
creating apps, tabs, objects, fields, page layouts, business logic,
reports and automated emails.
- Identify, develop, and document organization business processes
related to Salesforce, including flows, automations, user training,
etc.
- Import, export, and manipulate data using Data Loader, SOQL and
Excel.
- Create and manage reports, dashboards and scheduling for users
throughout the organization.
- Provide support for end-users via email, Salesforce cases,
phone and in-person.
- Test and develop solutions in Sandboxes and deploy to
production using best practices
- Troubleshoot Apex & Flow errors as needed
- Design and update Visualforce pdf templates for custom
apps
- Maintain, review and test App Exchange products
- Maintain data quality and integrity by removing duplicates,
ensuring standards, enforce data governance using validation rules
and other tools.
- Develop offline solutions when necessary
- Review and troubleshoot periodic Salesforce update
notifications
- Work closely with stakeholders in various roles throughout the
organization.
- Assist other members of the I. T. team as needed.
- Assist at occasional fundraising events on a weekend or
evening, as needed.Job Requirements
Skill set:
- 2+ years experience as a Salesforce System Administrator.
- Self-starter that can use online training (e.g. Trailhead) and
videos to enhance skill set.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, advanced Excel
skills required
- Experience with databases, auditing and reporting is
required.
- Experience with Google Docs, Drive, and Forms is
preferred.
- Familiarity with Apex Code and Visualforce strongly
preferred.
- Salesforce Admin Certification (Admin 201) is preferred
- Familiarity with Non-Profit Service Pack (NPSP) a plus
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Must be well-organized and very detail oriented.
- Ability to act with discretion and maintain
