Job Description:
ABV is currently looking for a dynamic and energetic personality
to fill our host/expeditor position. You would be the pub's first
impression for our guests as they walk in. Previous experience is a
plus, but not an absolute need. Duties will include answering
phones, taking to go orders and ringing them into a point of sales
system, handling payments for to go orders and retail beer sales,
seating guests at appropriately sized tables for the party's
number, keep track of a wait list, helping to bus and clean tables
to facilitate table turnover, helping to expedite and run food from
the kitchen window to tables. All of these tasks can be taught.
What you bring to the job is an enthusiastic and positive
personality that enjoys interacting with guests to give them a
welcome wow factor on arrival into the store.
