Job Description Job Summary The I.T. department is looking for a talented System Admin that has experience but also is looking to grow their skill set and join a team that is tightly coupled with the development and engineering team. This position is more than a job it is an opportunity to collaborate with a great team and leadership dedicated to development. A successful candidate should have I.T. experience as full system administrator but most importantly would like to expand their knowledge base and experience within the vertical of information technology and security. Our department is committed to helping candidates grow, but this role if for matured IT system administrator that will have to hit the ground running Essential Duties / Responsibilities Continuously learning information technology and security best practices and committed to using resources for training and continuous education. 4-6 years of experience with Microsoft Azure Familiarity of AWS, Google Developer Console and Apple Developer Intimate experience with Microsoft Intune/MDM Intimate experience with Microsoft Defender Intimate experience with Microsoft Sentinal Understand and deploy RBAC within Azure, AWS, and Google. Know how to create monitoring dashboards within Azure Full Networking infrastructure knowledge, VLAN, Static Routes etc. Able to deploy and administer an enterprise network Know how to terminate RJ45s and Punchdown keystones Know how to diagnose issues with hardware network infrastructure Know how to use cable toners and diagnostic equipment Best Practices for cable management and associated hazards Prepare hardware for circulation and use within enterprise Prepare Laptops for new users and look for points of improvement in process Troubleshooting hardware and software issues routinely. Ensuring electrical safety standards are met and practiced. Connect data ports to switches in MDF/IDF, familiar with data center arch Upgrade devices per processes and work tempo conditions Documentation and completion of all service tickets, be a writer of thorough notes across platforms but especially within service tickets Project management, preform and develop project management skills Maintain conference rooms functionality and ease of use Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level through Microsoft Intune and Defender Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware, prior to deployment Providing support to end users and being the first point of contact for remediation Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues. Learn to field support tickets and how to deal with repeat support users Managing technical documentation. Train and become proficient within the following ecosystems; Microsoft E5 Enterprise, Azure, Defender, InTune, DarkTrace, Cisco Meraki, ZenDesk Own software deployment into our cloud Production, Pre-Prod environments and Enterprise wide Develop and follow operational best practices for tools and automation development including Style guides, versioning practices, source control, branching and merging patterns, continuous integration and release, and Infrastructure as Code Evaluate, build, and deploy tools to enhance the deployment framework such as workstation Manage Azure AD daily Oversee usage of SharePoint and assist department SharePoint admins Responsible for the optimization and scaling of our Cloud platform. Work closely with IT leadership to proactively manage uptime and cost management Help troubleshoot issues within the ecosystems deployed across the enterprise, and work with the team to address root cause to minimize the chance of a second occurrence while creating following blameless postmortems Develop and follow operational best practices for tools and automation development including Style guides, versioning practices, source control, branching and merging patterns, continuous integration and release, and Infrastructure as Code Practice and develop other engineering orientated work, basics of coding and what is traditional called DevOps Be responsible for continuous improvement, identifying and remediating manual actions and processes Personal Attributes Desire to learn and continually improve self and others through knowledge sharing Experience working in a matrix organization in a role that influences change through leadership - A clear willingness to document processes, requirements, and specifications Qualifications/Requirements BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent relevant experience (experience preferred to formal BS/MS) Work is conducted on site at corporate headquarters in Hillsboro, OR Company Description Designs, installs, and certifies engineered fire protection systems for semiconductor process tools.
