Job Description:

Responsibilities:

* Maintain a safe and clean work area.
* Follows assembly instructions and quality procedures to meet output requirements.
* Support the training of team members and collaborates to drive improvement and efficiency.
* Maintains a good working relationship with department colleagues and the supporting departments.
* Communicates and seeks guidance where there are errors or difficulty in assembly or build.
* Performs quality work checks to ensure the assembly meets quality standards.

Skill / Experience / Education

* High School diploma or equivalent
* Knowledge and experience of the principles of electrical or mechanical component constructions and assembly, dependent on assigned area.
* Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and diagrams.
* Experience with hand tools and small power tools.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Ability to climb a ladder to reach top locations on assemblies.
* Requires standing for most of the day and will include work at floor level as well as atop a ladder.
* Light assembly of components ranging from small fittings, piping to light metal framework.
