Peterson Cat has an immediate need for a Marketing Inside Sales
Representative to support our Rental business. The person in the
position can be based at either our Hillsboro, OR or Eugene, OR
This position will have responsibility for generating leads &
opportunities with existing customers, identifying new customer
opportunities, and updating account information, for Peterson's Cat
Rental Store team. Contact will be made through telemarketing and
indirect channels. The Marketing Inside Sales Rep. will also serve
as lead for catrentalstore.com, and manage new account
registrations, live chat engagements and inquires. This role will
work closely with Peterson's Digital Marketing Specialist to ensure
timely customer messaging and leverage digital tactics to drive low

Makes 80 out-bound/in-bound phone contacts per week. (320 per
Generates leads for Peterson's Cat Rental Store group through
customer contact and account management.
Leverage customer retention data for targeted calls: inactive
customers (>180 days), lost customers (>12 months), and
dormant customers. (29-180 days)
Priority focus on unassigned rental accounts.
Leverage Ready2Rent, Dodge Enhanced lead programs.
Follow-up with National Accounts to understand rental
Capture COD rental customers contact data for continued
Accountable for Customer Relationship Management ("CRM") input
with rental customers, and conducts proactive account management by
completing the customer profile function in Sales Link.
Uses Sales Link to document customer information, leads,
activities and rental transactions.
Contacts prospective customers to determine rental needs,
present product information, and explain available services.
Provides informational brochures and other literature to inform
customers and influence rental decisions.
Evaluates leads, effectively and efficiently, and determines
whether to respond or pass the lead to rental resources management
Stay current on Cat and allied rental products in order to offer
the best solutions based on customer interests and concerns.
Follows all rental processes and procedures.
Partners with management to ensure marketing campaigns are
directed to the right opportunities for rental customers.
Assists with customer surveys as needed.
- Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a
minimum of two years of experience in rental or sales, preferably
in a heavy industrial environment; or an equivalent combination of
education and work experience.
