Job Description

Come join the growing Assembly and Test Technology Development (ATTD) team in Oregon developing the manufacturing processes for disaggregated die products.

  • This role requires a passion for manufacturing excellence and willingness to influence stakeholders and adjacent factories within the expanding far backend flow.
  • The Manufacturing Systems Engineer (MSE) job requires a passion for process improvement data analysis and leading new systems implementation Intel's new product roadmap requires new equipment technologies and processes in the Die Prep and Wafer Level Assembly factories that require innovative solutions for manufacturing execution.
  • The Oregon Technology Development (OTD) MSE team responsibilities include conducting comprehensive gap analysis for technologies that are disruptive to Die Prep manufacturing systems designing systems to enable these technologies leading groups and/or teams to implement systems solutions and transferring these solutions to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) partners.
  • MSE's drive root cause analysis and develop solutions within the areas of Line Management quality and business processes.
  • The team owns OTD tactical capacity key performance indicators and data visualization.
  • The candidate selected for this role will own equipment capacity and headcount modeling for OTD.
  • This individual will drive capacity systems development to meet the evolving needs of the factory and own tool and/or headcount requirements for OTD to meet the upcoming product roadmaps.
  • The candidate will maintain the TD capacity metrics and drive tactical output improvement roadmaps to meet customer commitments.

The candidate should also exhibit the following behavioral traits and/or skills:

  • Quantitative skills: statistical analysis modeling, Manufacturing Science background, and computer skills (MS Office Suite)

This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly.


You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.


  • Possess a bachelor's degree with 3+ months of relevant experience or master's degree with 1+ years of relevant experience in a technical discipline like Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering


6+ months experience with:

  • Developing capacity models and preforming analysis
  • ATTD and/or ATM Data Systems and the Die Prep modules
  • MS Office Suite
  • SQL, VBA, Python (or related programming language as related to obtaining summarizing and providing data)
  • Possess a bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience or master's degree with 1+ years of relevant experience in a technical discipline like Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
