PositionSummary:The Sr. Director of Commercial Performance is responsible for leading strategic initiatives and generating insights that enables executional excellence across Electron Microscopy Commercial team. The Sr. Director will report to the Vice President, Global Sales and Service for the Electron Microscopy Business and will partner with the Commercial leadership and subject matter experts to diagnose inefficiencies that create organizational drag and ineffectiveness, co-create solutions and successfully execute the highest priority efforts to enable growth and improve productivity across the commercial organization. Areas of focus include sales development curricula, data and analytics, technology enablement and process improvements. The Sr. Director of Commercial Performance will evaluate the current business needs and provide plans to provide their level of expertise and experiences to the business deliverables.KeyResponsibilities:Develop and implement commercial tools, processes and analytics to accelerate growth and bolster our innovation and digitalization efforts. Continue to focus improvement strategies and plans to maximize productivity, drive operational excellence and achieve/exceed business goals and partnership with commercial leaders, and aligned to the business unit strategies, implement and measure virtual commercial platforms to enable the teams to effectively connect with customers. In partnership with the commercial leaders and key stakeholders, be accountable for defining and establishing a robust assessment process based on best-in-class metrics that focus on quantifiable and qualitative outcome and results.Effectively mobilize the various levels of the organization (both operational and functional) to move forward with strategic and tactical change. Keep a pulse and regularly assess organizational progress through regular engagement with leaders, use of digital tools, technology and processesProvide expert consultation and project management to all assigned initiatives - Engage relevant stakeholders, objectively assess potential solutions, clearly define project deliverables and timelines, develop communication/change management plans, manage and proactively communicate risks and expectationsAnalyze, diagnose and provide insights into sales force effectiveness and performanceQualifications:Bachelors degree required (in a Science preferred); MBA a plus10years of relevant work experience; strong background in sales and operationsStrong background in commercial operating roles (e.g., global marketing lead, commercial operations, strategy, brand management) 6years of managing successful projects and change management programs Established as strong analytics and insights platform for business performance.Exceptional communication skills.
