As a Facilities Engineer with a focus on Bulk Chemical Delivery, you will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and cost-effective development and operations in a 24x7 manufacturing environment, the successful commissioning of new equipment, as well as the transfer of any technology development. Also, you will design, commission, and own various Waste Systems within RA4 and across the campus.

This position requires thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures to perform non-repetitive, analytical work and provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. The successful candidate will also be accountable to foster a team culture in which safety, procedural adherence, operational excellence, and result orientation are the foundation.

Qualifications

This is an entry-level position and will be compensated accordingly. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science with +1 year experience or a Master of Science degree in Chemical, Chemistry, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering or related field of study.
  • 1+ of the relevant job or internship experience in areas such as facilities water systems, chemical engineering principles, including chemical piping, neutralization, filtration, pumps, valves, flow calculations, and chemical analytical testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Facilities operations or fab tool ownership
  • Experience with Statistical Process Control.
  • Experience working in a production environment and/or with other facilities process systems.
  • Experience with project planning, coordination, and integration.
  • Experience with Bulk Chemical Delivery system ownership.
  • Experience with Waste treatment system ownership.
  • Experience writing procedures, system specifications, and other forms of technical writing to support sustaining of new equipment.
