As part of the product development team within the High
Performance Analog division of MACOM, the candidate will design
mixed signal IC circuits for serial communication such as
transimpedance amplifiers, limiting amplifiers, laser drivers, PLLs
The successful candidate must have solid understanding of analog
design fundamentals and have familiarity with analog and mixed
signal simulators (Spectre, VerilogA/VHDL, AMS, Ultrasim, Matlab).
Understanding and capability to contribute to the overall product
flow from definition to qualification is also required.
- MSEE degree with design experience in sub-micron CMOS and/or
BiCMOS process technology
- Solid understanding of analog design fundamentals
- Proficient with CAD design tools
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Design experience of high performance analog circuits is a
plus. Examples include Gbps equalizers, CDRs, PLLs, laser drivers
and transimpedance amplifiers. Knowledge of ADC/DAC design is also
