As a key player in our mission to revolutionize foodservice delivery, US Foods is seeking dedicated CDL Drivers to ensure safe and timely transport of our broad catalog of products to our valued customers. As a CDL Driver, you’ll be responsible for managing deliveries that fuel America's thriving food industry. Your role is pivotal in maintaining the efficiency of our supply chain and supporting our reputation for exceptional service and reliability. This position blends driving proficiency with customer service skills, making it ideal for individuals who pride themselves on their professionalism and road efficiency. Operate commercial trucks following all operational and safety procedures. Load and unload product stacks and validate delivery contents using digital inventory tools. Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining the integrity and temperature of food items. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and adhere to maintenance scheduling. Manage documentation such as delivery tickets and trip logs. Provide excellent customer service and resolve product delivery issues where necessary. Comply with all applicable traffic and transport regulations.
