RECRUITMENTThe Information Technology Project Manager is
responsible for managing information technology projects in support
of Columbia Memorial Hospital's operational priorities. The Project
Manager will plan, execute, and finalize projects according to
strict deadlines and within budget; this includes identifying
resources and coordinating the efforts of internal and external
team members as well as third-party contractors or consultants in
order to deliver projects according to plan. Job
RequirementsKnowledge of/Skill/Ability to: The Project Manager is
in charge of schedules, budgets, resources and deliverables for an
assigned project. Monitors teams to make sure goals and objectives
are being kept. Knowledge of larger landscape without neglecting
granular details while tracking project health, staying alert for
risk and resolving issues as they arise. Maintains standards and
monitors scope with project quality. Ability to formulate and
operationalize new concepts and ideas for improvement. Ability to
work independently. Possess strong project management and
problem-solving skills, as well as strong working knowledge of
various software packages.License/CertificationPreferred: PMI or
PMP CertificationEducation and/or Experience---Bachelor's degree in
IT or related field preferred---A combination of education,
certification and project management experience will be considered
without a bachelor's degree---Proven leadership skills---Analytical
and strong organization skills, with excellent verbal and written
ability---Minimum Experience: Five years' experience in an
information technology related field---Experience with Cerner
software preferred Physical Demands and Work Environment Conditions
/ ADA CompliancePosition involves standing, walking, stooping, and
occasional carrying and lifting of lightweight materials (up to 20
pounds). May be required to sit for extended periods of time.
Requires visual acuity and depth perception to recognize words and
numbers; and hand and finger dexterity and hand/eye coordination to
use a computer keyboard and common office equipment.
