Job Description:
Sysco, a global leader in the distribution of food products to

facilities, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Delivery
Driver Trainee. In this role, you will embark on a rigorous
training program designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills,
and certifications necessary to succeed in the delivery and
logistics field. You will learn from seasoned professionals and
gain hands-on experience that will be pivotal in your career
advancement within Sysco. Participate actively in all training
sessions, workshops, and safety briefings. Assist in loading and
unloading goods to ensure their safety and integrity. Navigate
routes efficiently with the use of GPS technologies while adhering
to all traffic laws. Collect and document delivery confirmations
from clients. Maintain accurate logs of travel time, vehicle
service, and fuel expenses. Engage in daily vehicle checks to
ensure operational safety and reliability. Provide excellent
customer service, addressing and escalating customer issues as
needed. Basic mechanical skills to manage minor vehicle
maintenance. Ability to operate GPS and other navigation tools.
Strong time management to adhere to delivery schedules. Effective
communication and customer service abilities. Physical strength and
