Description:--- Handle incoming and outgoing service related phone calls --- Open and update work orders --- Communicate with customers concerning jobs status, updates --- Maintain Rapport by explaining job scopes, estimates and expected return dates of equipment --- Interpret inspection results (working with technicians) and present results to customer--- Maintain service filing --- Assist with shop scheduling --- Coordinate with parts for pricing and availabilityQualifications:--- Mechanically Inclined - knowledge of heavy equipment (automotive industry experience highly preferred)--- Good knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of heavy duty equipment--- Fundamental knowledge of engines, hydraulics, power-trans, air-conditioning, and electrical systems as the apply to machines marketed by the Dealership--- Ability to multitask --- Ability to work in a fast paced team environment --- Effective customer service skills--- Proficient oral and written communication skills --- Organization and time management skills --- Previous service writer/mechanic experience an asset --- Valid Driver's License - Class 3 is an asset --- Proficient with Computers - Experience with CDK an asset --- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required About Aston Carter: Please Note: Scammers are posing as Aston Carter.
