On behalf of a Portland, OR client, HR Answers is recruiting for a Medical Office Administrator (direct hire). The company offers competitive salary and excellent benefits. Position SummaryThe Medical Office Administrator (MOA) provides hands-on leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively operate and to ensure financial strength and efficiency. This is accomplished through direct, hands-on execution of responsibilities; respectful, constructive and energetic leadership; and is guided by the mission, vision, values, strategic plans and objectives of the company. Core Competencies for the MOA position include: Leadership, Detail Orientation, Results Driven, Business Acumen, Creative Decision Making, Problem Solving and Financial Management. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for daily business operations, HR and performance management, customer service, oversight of marketing functions, financial reporting, and productivity with direct clinic supervisory responsibilities. Provide day-to-day leadership and management to a service organization in keeping with the mission, vision and core values of the company. Includes Revenue Cycle, Clinical Management, and Marketing and Sales.Demonstrate leadership and commitment to organizational performance through presence at each of the company locations.Responsible for Revenue Cycle, AP/AR, Bookkeeping, Marketing & Sales, Human Resources, Credentialing & Compliance, Purchasing, Vendor Relations (including IT/IS) and other daily business activities, goals and objectives; managing full Profit & Loss.Data collection and analytics. Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.Communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes at the direction of and in concert with the CEO.Motivate and lead a high-performance team; attract, recruit and retain required members of the team not currently in place; provide mentoring as a cornerstone to the career development program.Act as a "client-care officer" through direct contact with every client and partner.Foster a success-oriented, environment of accountability and problem solving within the company.Represent the company with clients, investors, and business partners at the direction of the CEO and other tasks and duties as assigned.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in business administration, finance, healthcare administration, or related field.Ten years of strong operational experience with a minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership operational experience in a medical clinical setting.A relevant combination of education and experience may be considered.Demonstrated experience in revenue cycle management, financial planning and analysis with previous experience overseeing human resources, information technology, and compliance.Skilled in organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning.Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to corporate mission.Flexible and able to multitask; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also leading toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in business administration, healthcare administration or related field.Three years in a senior management role in a medical services clinical setting.Three years of leadership experience in a small to medium sized healthcare company.Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This position is Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 6 pm.
