Job Description:
American Medical Response (AMR), a national leader in medical
transport services, is seeking a Paramedic Basic to join our
dedicated team. This role is critical in our mission to provide
responsive and high-quality emergency medical services and patient
transportation. As a Paramedic Basic at AMR, you will work in
dynamic settings and face challenges that require quick thinking
and a compassionate, professional approach. You will be responsible
for assessing the condition of patients, administering medical
treatment, and transporting patients safely to medical facilities.
Our Paramedics are essential in our commitment to delivering
exceptional care while keeping the well-being of patients as the
primary focus. Respond to emergency calls and provide efficient and
immediate care to the critically ill and injured. Transport
patients while ensuring the highest standards of safety and care
are maintained. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine
appropriate treatment in accordance with protocols. Maintain
complete and accurate documentation of patient care. Operate and
drive an ambulance in accordance with safety protocols. Engage in
continuous education and training to hone skills and improve
service delivery. Strong ability to assess patient condition and
implement appropriate medical interventions Proficiency in using
medical equipment and performing procedures such as airway
management and cardiac monitoring Excellent driving skills with the
ability to maneuver an ambulance in high-pressure situations Strong
communication and interpersonal skills for interacting effectively
with patients, families, and healthcare team members Ability to
maintain composure and make critical decisions in high-stress
