Job Description:
Legacy Health, a prominent non-profit health system, is seeking
a dedicated Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. Our
commitment extends through six hospitals and various outpatient
facilities throughout Oregon and Washington, delivering
high-quality heart care. In this role, you will work directly with
cardiologists to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
involving radiographic imaging and ultrasounds. The ideal candidate
will have a passion for cardiology and a firm commitment to patient
care, upholding the values that Legacy Health stands for in
providing compassionate services. Assist cardiologists in
performing diagnostic procedures such as EKGs, cardiac
catheterizations, and vascular ultrasonography. Prepare patients
and explain procedures to ensure comfort and compliance. Maintain
and operate medical diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
Record findings and track patient outcomes to monitor treatment
strategies. Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to
optimize patient care. Proficient in operating cardiovascular
diagnostic equipment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in
a fast-paced and dynamic environment Detail-oriented with a
commitment to patient safety Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Cardiovascular
Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
certification preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
