Job Description:
Legacy Health is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Chaplain Associate-Supplemental to join our multidisciplinary
healthcare team. This role provides a critical service by offering
spiritual support, crisis intervention, and comfort to patients,
their families, and staff across our diverse network. As a
non-profit health system with a broad reach across Oregon and
Washington, Legacy Health prides itself on its commitment to
holistic care, integrating physical, emotional, and spiritual
health services to serve our communities better. Offer pastoral
care and spiritual support to patients and their families. Respond
to emergency calls for spiritual support. Participate in the
development and delivery of staff support programs. Conduct or
arrange religious services according to varied beliefs. Collaborate
with medical staff to ensure the provision of comprehensive care.
Document interventions and patient care accurately in health
records. Strong pastoral care skills Ability to provide spiritual
and emotional support in a healthcare setting Effective
communication and interpersonal skills Crisis intervention
abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) by the Association of
Professional Chaplains preferred Endorsement by a recognized
religious/spiritual body
