Job Description:
Legacy Health, a leading non-profit healthcare network spanning
across Oregon and Washington, is seeking a motivated Pharmacy
Student Intern to join our dynamic team. The selected candidate
will engage in a hands-on learning experience under the guidance of
seasoned pharmacy professionals within our healthcare system. This
position offers a unique opportunity to gain practical, real-world
pharmacy experience in a supportive and educational environment,
contributing to our mission of providing compassionate and
comprehensive healthcare services. Assist with the preparation and
dispensing of medications and supplies under direct supervision of
a registered pharmacist. Participate in the medication therapy
management and perform patient medication reconciliations. Support
pharmacists in administering immunizations and patient education.
Help maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with
healthcare laws and regulations. Contribute to pharmacy inventory
control and participate in quality improvement projects. Strong
foundational knowledge in pharmacology and pharmacy practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle
sensitive information confidentially. Strong attention to detail
and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using healthcare
information technology and pharmacy systems. Medical Insurance

enrollment in good standing in an accredited pharmacy school.
Eligibility for pharmacy intern licensure as per state and federal
regulations.
