This role is pivotal in aiding diagnostic procedures by creating detailed images using ultrasound technology, helping in patient diagnosis and treatment. Operate ultrasound equipment to produce images of patients' internal organs and blood flow using sonographic technology. Collaborate with healthcare providers to evaluate images and assist in diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions. Ensure patient safety and comfort during ultrasound procedures. Maintain records of diagnostic procedures as per standard medical and legal requirements. Educate and communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures. Participate in departmental improvement initiatives to optimize workflow and patient care. Proficiency in using diagnostic ultrasound equipment Strong analytical skills to interpret sonographic data Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Capability to handle a high-stress and fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with an emphasis on patient safety Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
