Job Description:
At Centria Healthcare, a renowned leader in home-based
healthcare services with a specialization in autism support, we are
seeking a dedicated Child Autism Specialist who is driven to
provide exceptional care and support to children with autism. This
vital role focuses on implementing tailored behavior intervention
plans that assist our young patients in reaching their utmost
potential. You will work collaboratively within our team to foster
developmental growth, assist in achieving behavioral goals, and
enhance the quality of life for the children and their families.
Assess the individual needs of children with autism and develop
effective treatment plans. Implement and modify behavior analytic
interventions, therapy sessions, and management plans as needed.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and families
to support each child's development. Maintain communication with
parents and caregivers regarding progress and challenges. Document
all patient interactions, treatment plans, and observed behaviors.
Participate in ongoing professional development to ensure best
practices in autism care. Strong understanding of Applied Behavior
Analysis (ABA) and other proven intervention strategies. Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills for working with children,
families, and healthcare teams. Ability to create and implement
individualized care plans. Strong problem-solving skills and
adaptability to meet individual child needs. Medical Insurance
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification preferred.
Valid state license for behavioral therapy (if required).
