Job Description Pacific Veterinary/nHospital, located in
Portland Oregon, is searching for a Managing Veterinarian/nto help
lead their AMAZING TEAM! Offering up to 30K in signing and/or
relocation bonus, not including additional management and hospital
performance bonuses, along with industry-leading competitive

since 1955. We are a/nwell-established, 2-doctor, small animal
practice that provides the highest/nstandard of care to our
patients and top-notch customer service to our clients./nWe offer
everything from wellness to comprehensive medical treatment
and/noperate with state-of-the-art equipment (including on-site
laboratory machines,/ndigital radiology, summus laser, and in-house
ultrasound). Our hospital is located right off of Pacific Highway
in the heart of SW Portland, near beautiful Multnomah Village. What

Quality Medicine. Our team of Doctors and Technicians utilize
state-of-the-art/n equipment to perform advanced techniques
providing excellent care and/n treatment services. /n - Schedule –
We are open 5 days a week with flexible scheduling, which/n may
include a half–day on Saturday soon. /n The Managing
Veterinarian/nis responsible for providing medical leadership for
the hospital, managing/nassociate veterinarians, and assuring
regulatory compliance relating to the/npractice of veterinary
medicine. The Managing Veterinarian is also responsible/nfor
fostering an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine
is/ndelivered. In partnership with the/nPractice Manager, the
Managing Veterinarian is responsible for the financial/nperformance
of the hospital, preparing operating and capital budgets,
and/nmeeting budget expectations. In addition, the Practice Manager
and Managing DVM/nare responsible for directing staff and the
overall management of the practice,/nunder the direction of NVA
Divisional Leadership. /n - Advancing Medical Care /n - Financial

member /n Skills and Basic/nQualifications /n - A Doctor of
Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an/n
accredited university /n - Licensure in good standing to practice
in the state in which the applicant/n is to be employed /n -
Excellent verbal and written communication skills /n - A commitment
to practicing the highest standard of medicine and/n upholding the
veterinary code of ethics /n - The ability to delegate
responsibility and achieve results with/n hospital team members /n
- Capable of quality decision making /n - The ability to coach,
correct, develop, and motivate employees /n - Demonstrates
excellent time and task management /n - Demonstrates professional
