EP Tech / EP Lab Tech Location: Portland, OR Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,619 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cardiac Device Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Electrophysiology Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 (08:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year prior experience with remote implanted cardiac device monitoring License: Valid state license preferred Certifications: BLS, CCDS Cardiac Device Specialist Certification Must-Have: - Experience performing remote implanted cardiac device monitoring and technical assistance - Proficiency in interrogating and programming pacemakers or defibrillators Description: The Cardiac Device Technician's primary role is to perform in-person and remote monitoring of single, dual, and CRT pacing systems, implanted cardiac defibrillators, pacemakers, and implanted loop recorders. This position ensures excellent care for patients in collaboration with our Cardiac Device Clinic Team. Daily activities include performing in-person and remote cardiac device checks/interrogations. Responsibilities involve logging onto remote monitoring device websites, analyzing new device transmissions, and completing remote transmission reports. Communication of any alarm conditions, abnormalities of heart rhythm, or changes in device function to the appropriate cardiologist must occur in a timely manner. Documenting patient interactions and device reads in the electronic medical record is required. Providing patient education to individuals in the device program and scheduling in-person and remote follow-up visits is essential. Additional duties include troubleshooting and reprogramming of various manufacturers' pacemakers and ICDs. The technician will maintain general organization of the device clinic and the follow-up schedule. Working with the Electrophysiology clinic staff to track device patients effectively is expected. The technician will also assist in billing processes and streamlining procedures within the device clinic to maximize throughput and reimbursement while maintaining excellent customer service. This position collaborates closely with Device Clinic staff to ensure appropriate care and follow-up for all device clinic patients. Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS
