Driver/Patient Transportation Coordinator - PACE (Milwaukie) at
Providence Non-RN - Oregon summary: The Driver/Patient
Transportation Coordinator provides transportation services for
elderly and physically limited PACE participants, ensuring safe and
comfortable travel using specialized vehicles. The role requires a
valid driver's license, proof of insurance, defensive driving and
passenger assistance training, and significant experience driving
large passenger vehicles. This position supports community health
by facilitating access to medical care and promoting independence
among the elderly population. Description $2,000 hiring bonus for
eligible external candidates that meet required qualifications and
conditions for payment. The Transportation Coordinator picks up and
delivers geriatric, frail and/or physically limited PACE
participants to and from their destinations in regular or specially
equipped vehicles, depending upon the individual geriatric
participants needs. Providence PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive

as possible living in the community through clinics, home visits

Coursework/Training: Successful completion of defensive driving and
passenger assistance training courses within 3 months of hire.
Driving is a necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are
required to comply with all state laws and requirements for
driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver
license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional
information. 5 years Driving experience. Preferred Qualifications:
2 years Driving experience, which includes: Driving a large
passenger van or small bus. 2 years of experience transporting
people with special needs. 1 year Experience in transporting

range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job

pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role,
