PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Seaside, Oregon, 97138! Job Title:

Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10
Hours (06:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 Year in PACU and
Pre-Anesthesia Care License: Active Registered Nurse License
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Experience in both
pre-anesthesia and post-anesthesia care - Proficient in delivering
care in a blended pre-anesthesia and PACU department - Ability to
float between units as necessary - Comfortable with being on call,
typically two days a week plus some weekends on rotation
Description: First-time applicants are welcome to apply. The
position requires proficiency in pre-anesthesia and post-anesthesia
care. The registered nurse will float between units as needed.
On-call duties are required, typically two days per week and some
weekends in rotation. Weekend call shifts begin Friday at 06:30 and
end Monday at 06:30. Patient ratios are determined based on patient
acuity and required interventions. Clinical judgment is essential
for staffing needs in the blended environment. The registered nurse
will care for a diverse patient population across different age
groups. Expected patient diagnoses include general, ophthalmic,
gynecological, orthopedic, C-sections, and endoscopy cases.
Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services and rapid
response teams. Applicants must possess the ability to manage
various patient care duties, including assessment, education, and
pain management. Candidates must commit to working three of the
five major holidays each year. Flexibility in scheduling and the
ability to manage requests up front is crucial for this role.
Candidates are required to have a vehicle for commuting to work. 5
