07:30) Experience: 4 Years LDRP Experience License: Valid State
License Preferred Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Must-Have: NRP,
Fetal Monitoring Triage Experience Baby Nurse/Transition Experience
Comfortable Initiating NRP for Low-Moderate Risk Deliveries
Experience Starting CPAP and PPV Until Help Arrives IV Start,
Triage, Circulate Description: The position requires caring for low
to moderate risk laboring patients, antepartum patients, and
postpartum patients, including their newborns. Staff will triage
patients in dedicated triage rooms and provide medical screenings.
Staff will circulate and recover from C-sections in the operating
room suite and private rooms. Daily patient ratios will range from
1:1 to 1:3. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory
services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social
services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The patient
population includes neonates and adults. The unit has a nursing
census averaging five patients daily with 14 rooms and 28 beds.
Candidates must have experience floating within a hospital setting.
