Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current unencumbered RN license
required Certifications: Healthcare Provider Level BLS required;
ACLS and NIHSS required Must-Have: Specialty certification in
Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported.
Description: The Medical Surgical unit specializes in the care of
acutely ill adults and those who require surgery, both emergent and
elective. Medical Surgical patients receive the highest standards
of professional care from registered nurses and nurse assistants. A
strong emphasis is placed on professional development and ongoing
education in this specialty area. Healthcare providers on this unit
are committed to delivering exceptional care and support to
patients during their recovery process. Strong teamwork and
communication skills are essential for success in this dynamic
environment. Holiday coverage may be required.
