and Rehabilitation of Cascadia - Gresham, OR *** Full-Time - 40

Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia is looking for a Certified
Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) PRN to join our dynamic team
of dedicated health care professionals to be a FORCE for Good in
Gresham, OR! Are you passionate about helping others regain

Rehabilitation of Cascadia, a vibrant 82-bed skilled nursing
facility with a strong average daily census of 70. We are deeply
rooted in our mission of being a FORCE for Good, and we're looking
for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing,
tight-knit therapy team of five superstar clinicians. Our facility
features a well-equipped therapy gym and private Occupational
Therapy Suites, creating an ideal setting to make a meaningful
impact on patients' lives. What You'll Do: Under the direction of a
licensed Physical Therapist, you'll support patients recovering
from injury or illness by implementing treatment plans that promote
mobility, strength, and pain relief. Administers a treatment
program with specific goals determined according to the
resident's/patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of
a physician. Assists patients with rehabilitative activities and
exercises outlined in a treatment plan developed in collaboration
with an occupational therapist. Demonstrates and articulates sound
clinical reasoning in treatment planning, implementation and
monitoring of resident's/patient's progress. Assists in the
instruction of residents/patients and families in home programs,
basic living skills and the care and use of adaptive equipment
Punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts. Other
Functions Performs other duties as assigned. Ability to maintain
and promote a positive attitude toward residents/patients and their
treatment progression. Ability to communicate and collaborate with
other health care professionals involved with the care of a
patient. Ability to maintain resident/patient confidentiality. What
You Bring: Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and physical therapy
techniques. Positive, motivational energy, and a passion for
patient care. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Education Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapist
Assistant program Licenses/Certification Current COTA license
required - We'll cover the cost if you don't have one yet! Current
CPR certification required Experience Six month experience in a
long-term care environment preferred What We Offer: Competitive Pay
