A background in movement disorders or neuromuscular medicine is highly desired, but Legacy will consider other subspecialties for exceptional candidates.--Legacy Neurology has 4 practice locations in the Portland-Vancouver metro area (clinics are all either in Portland or within 20 minutes of downtown). The clinic-based--Neurologist will provide outpatient consultation and management of patients with neurological disorders at one or more of our locations.--The new physician will join our team of 10 outpatient--neurologists, 4 clinic APPs, and 8 neurohospitalists.--We have subspecialty programs in autoimmune neurology/MS, epilepsy, headache, movement disorders, neuromuscular disease, neuro-ophthalmology, and vascular neurology.--Some general neurology practice is required of all our physicians, but there is an opportunity to develop--a subspecialty practice as--desired. Some inpatient general neurology is coverage required, although Neurohospitalists manage all acute stroke assessment.
