Description
The Associate Medical Assistant works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing basic patient care to assigned patients. Basic patient care needs will be met though both administrative and clinical duties. The Associate Medical Assistant is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Required qualifications:

• 
  Coursework/Training: Has completed an accredited MA Program that includes an externship -or-
  
  
• 
  Coursework/Training: Has completed two years medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
  
  
• 
  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  
  
• 
  Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months)
  
  
  Preferred qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    6 months of prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment
    
    
  • 
    6 months of previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR)

    Providence Physician Enterprise (PE) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care.
