The OHSU Division of Hospital Medicine's mission is "To serve, connect, and educate in order to heal, comfort, and empower" and we are seeking others who share these values to join our team.

The OHSU Division of Hospital Medicine (DHM) is comprised of academic and clinical hospitalists at both OHSU and Hillsboro Medical Center (HMC) and serves as the largest acute care/inpatient service at both sites. HMC is a 167-bed hospital located in Hillsboro, Oregon, and is part of OHSU Health.

Clinical duties will primarily consist of operating as part of an inpatient medicine care team, and includes admitting, managing, and discharging patients. The APP will be responsible for performing medical consultation, and engaging in co- management with other specialties. The APP will be expected to help serve as the primary provider for a population of patients with complex discharge needs, some observation patients, will assist with timely discharge planning for patients on the hospitalist service.

This position includes primarily day shifts, although some swing shifts may be required. There may be opportunities to engage in teaching learners from the OHSU NP program. In addition to a broad range of clinical duties, you will participate in relevant quality review and process improvement.

+ Completion of Master's Degree

+ Current unencumbered Oregon Nurse Practitioner license with Prescriptive Privileges and DEA

+ Ability to fulfill responsibilities for the specific role of an Advanced Practice Provider

+ Current licensure as required by specific Advanced Practice Provider governing board(s)

+ ANCC, AANP Board Certification
