Brief Job Description:
- Coordinate Student Government Association (SGA) activities;
maintain communication with administration; schedule and oversee
meetings and skill development in self-government.
- Coordinate SGA functions and activities, including operation
and administration of the benefit fund and student store.
Accounting skills are a plus in this area.
- Teach advanced leadership class to students.
- Coordinate community service activities.
- Oversee SGA executive council committees; monitor
- Provide positive, quality customer service to students, staff
and other center customers.Job Requirements: Associate Degree in
Behavioral Science, or related field. One year related experience.
Accounting experience required. Directly related experience may be
considered in lieu of education requirements. Ability to lift up to
30 pounds and quickly run up and down stairs. Experience with
youth, excellent written and verbal communications skills, and
computer proficiency required. Valid driver s license with an
acceptable driving record. CDL preferred.Schedule: 12PM to 9PM
Monday through Friday with some flexibility. Pay: $17-$18 per hour
starting pay depending on education and experience. Benefits:MTC

Labor. Located at the mouth of the Columbia River, the Center is

teach ages 16-24, the academic, technical training, employability,
and social skills they need to become prepared for successful
careers. A Job Corps campus is like a mini-city. It has
dormitories, classrooms, a dining hall, and recreational and
medical facilities. Training is open entry, open exit and can last
up to two years. Students work at their own pace, guided by
academic and career training instructors who are committed to their
success. Tongue Point offers students training in 12 vocations:
building construction technology, carpentry, cement masonry,
computer service technology, dental assisting, electrical, glazing,
landscaping, medical assisting, painting, plastering, welding, and
seamanship. We are the only Job Corps Center in the nation with a
seamanship program, and seamanship is the Center's largest
