Senior Technical Product Manager
Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to assist their organization remotely in Hillsboro, Oregon. They are hiring for the position of Senior Technology Product Manager (TPM) supporting the Global Operations & Logistics domain focused on Node (Warehouse Management) specifically on our product: Global Print Solution.As the Senior TPM for Node Global Print Solution, you will work with Lead TPM's on building new E2E Warehouse Management solutions functionalities for all our Distribution Centers moving to Active WM, and help us achieve our Roadmap by using your industry knowledge, technical acumen, and ability to influence while working with several global and geo stakeholders (business, product, engineering, UX and architecture).As a TPM, you will focus on driving excellence in product and platform strategy and execution. You will work in close collaboration with various teams within Global Technology (e.g., Digital Technology Program Office, Engineering leaders) and key Functional Teams across the business (e.g., Global Operations Team, Marketplace). TPM's will require experience designing creative, quality technical products and enabling business capabilities and objectives through technology.Senior Technical Product Manager Responsibilities
Owns a product, platform or set of features. Proposes enhancements and accountable for execution, measurement of outcomes, and continuous improvement. Fulfills the agile scrum role of Product Owner for a global squad.
Ensures the product/platform team has the full context and understanding of customers and business environment to create valuable solutions. Works with team to ensure all stories are supported, clear, and delivered in high quality.
Contribute to the Product/Platform Strategy & Roadmap, highlighting/owning risks and dependencies. Ensure the readiness of the work (accept or reject work results) and that the work is aligned to the Roadmap
Prioritize and make trade-offs based on understanding of strategies, budget, epics, enabler requirements, defects, dependent teams, goals and the value features and stories bring to customers and the business
Collaborate with, interpret and act as the voice of the customer for product team and bring the team to the customer whenever possible.
Works directly with users, UX design, other product managers & leaders, stakeholders, and the product team to define product needs, outcomes, and metrics (product KPIs) applying user centric design principles.
Develops and maintains a deep understanding of the users of the product/platform and applies this in developing proposals and in executing changes.
Own, maintain and prioritize product/platform backlog; facilitate feature & user story mapping, break features into stories (functional and non-functional), define acceptance criteria, ensure capacity for enablers and defects.
Assist in removing roadblocks for the product/platform team.
Understand how features are performing, the level of customer satisfaction, and provide suggestions for improvements
Provides input to the resource needs and plans for the product/platform.Senior Technical Product Manager Qualifications and Capabilities
Has successfully developed and implemented a system/ product/platform/service/ for a customer, evaluated its performance, and proposed and executed approaches to continually improve it.
Has demonstrated the ability to prioritize features and other work in consideration of roadmap, value, and strategy considerations.
Expertise in relevant development tools & technology, with the ability to apply that knowledge independently in their work.
Has experience with cloud-based services and API integrations.
Prior experience in Business or Technology role with experiences in Capability Strategy, Product Management, Business Systems Analytics, Data & Analytics or Engineering.
Has successfully analyzed the outcome of a landscape change, feature or improvement and developed actionable recommendations.
Develops collaborative relationships with technical and design colleagues and displays strong team behaviors.
Has a broad understanding of various software development approaches, including waterfall, agile, scrum, Kanban.Skillset:
Expertise in both the business/need, their product or platform serves, as well as the technology and operational landscape around Printing within a Distribution Center and stores.
Relentless in understanding customer needs / requirements and synthesizing insight through evaluating data, analytics, and user input.
Strategic in setting prioritization of the roadmap while being pragmatic in delivering incremental and continuous value (north star in mind while driving continuous value)
Adept at collaborating with and empowering engineering and UX design to enable the right product solution to solve for complex global problems.
Ruthless in defining, tracking, and measuring adoption and value. Accountable to the business outcomes (value) over output
Inquisitive, aware, and maintains knowledge of current industry trends and innovations
Skilled at cross functional alignment product roadmap and outcomes.Compensation: Minimum of $70/hr. (DOE)Benefits
