Job Description:

Cell Tower Construction ManagerThe Construction Manager is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and supervising the duties of journeyman foreman, various apprentice level and semi-skilled assistants involved in installation, fabrication, repair, and maintenance of CELL TOWERS. The CM is responsible for overall quality and inspection of subordinates' work, estimating and allocating job times, procuring supplies, maintaining records, preparing reports, etc. Responsible for exercising independence in determining priorities in keeping with established policy, safety standards, and work commitments and providing technical assistance to subordinates. Work assignments are received from a Project Manager through daily written instructions, oral discussion, and planning sessions. The CM's work is evaluated by the PM through consultation or inspection, cost reviews and feedback on efficiency and quality of work performed. -Experience/Minimum Requirements:

• Field experience on cell towers
• Recent experience on a T-Mobile project, as well as T-Mobile carrier experience a HUGE plus
• Familiar with cell tower and telecom equipment
• In charge of overseeing crews/ GCs/ vendors
• Site walks/ bid walks/ pre and post con walks
• Ensure cell tower is built properly to specs
• Closeout sitesOther Skills/Abilities
  • Knowledge of budget development and execution
  • Knowledge of construction management process
  • Knowledge of site acquisition procedures, including regulatory and permitting process
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Ability to direct and diagnose workflow problems, critical paths and institute remedies
  • Customer service orientation with a strong problem-solving approach - strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills - MS office and project management software knowledgeWorking Conditions
    • Will be required to travel to project sites with exposure to heavy equipment and environmental conditions 90% of the time.
    • Works in a normal office setting with no exposure to adverse environmental conditions 10% of the time.Education/Certifications
      • High School degree
      • A valid driver's license required
