Oregon.The Customer Support Organization is responsible for the
installation, qualification, repair, and maintenance of the ASML
systems at customer sites and is responsible for the necessary
transfer of knowledge to the customer. Local Customer Support
branches perform these tasks for the customers within the specific
region. This role supports New Product Introduction (NPI) programs
and projects in the US region. This will include the NXE 3800 and
4000. The NPI programs and projects are focused on introduction of
these leading edge lithographic systems at customer sites, within
specifications, on time, with quality exceeding the customer's
expectations. As a CS EUV NPI Program Manager you are responsible
for the operational management of planning, preparation, execution,
escalation, customer communication, and continuous improvement of
NPI.This position requires access to controlled technology, as
defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730,
et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access
such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business
demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are
immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
Role and responsibilities
- Drive Safety and quality across the operation. Coach Team
Members to maintain a safe work environment.
- Formulate, organize, coordinate, and monitor NPI projects.
- Lead and provide feedback on the performance of project leaders
and other staff.
- Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities.
- Manage risk.
- Assume responsibility for the program's assigned resources and
suppliers.
- Project planning with milestone updates to Sr Management &
customer stakeholders.
- Convey key milestones to team members (ASML & 3rd party) and
coordinate activities to achieve on-time completion.
- Provide customers with updates on installation, escalation
management, and coordination of NPI activities.
- Effectively communicate complex installation and technical
details to customers.
- Assess program performance and review on project phases
(preparation, execution, wrap up) with all stakeholders.
- Reporting to be defined in accordance with needs of customer
and account team which will require coordination with Taiwan,
Korea, the Netherlands, and local US teams.
- Support the customer FAB design to accommodate ASML
equipment.
- Coordinate with Install team on the preparation of facilities
at the customer site.
- Assist in resolving technical escalation associated with the
project.
- Provide feedback during and after the NPI to enhance future
introductions for safety, cost, quality, and cycle time.
- In this position you report to the US CS EUV Regional
Manager.
Education and experience
- BS degree (Engineering, Metrology, Mathematics, Mechanical,
Mechatronics, Electronics, (Applied) Physics) or equivalent
experience.
- Mechanical aptitude, and knowledge of electronics,
semiconductor processes, and relevant software. Knowledge of safety
procedures required.
- Experience in a challenging environment with high tech products
and complex processes.
- Prefer 5-10 years' work experience as a Project Leader or
Operational Manager.
- Knowledge of semiconductor lithography preferred.
- Good English language skills in spoken and written.
