It's exciting to work for a company that makes the world measurably better.We're committed to bringing safety, quality, and customer focus to the business of advanced ceramics manufacturing.Job TitleProduction ManagerPlan, direct, and monitor all production activities of multiple major departments or units to maximize the use of the organization's resources and meet established production specifications and schedules, and quality standards.--- Develop and implement manufacturing schedules and procedures and allocate labor and capital resources to maximize productivity and minimize disruptions (budgets, schedule and planning)--- Direct, evaluate, and develop a team of supervisors who are responsible for various production activities such as assembly, machine operation, processing, or packaging.--- Analyze production, maintenance, and malfunction records to identify problems and recommend solutions that will improve performance--- Liaise with functional or operational managers (for example in supply and logistics, or sales) to understand their current and future product needs and develop plans, cost estimates, and schedules for integrating these needs into existing manufacturing activities--- Supports and creates effective teams, units, and environments.--- Impacts and promotes organizational strategy and vision.--- Helps employees understand how they impact business strategy as well as leading coaching and providing effective feedback to them.--- Ensures quality control standards are not violated.--- Participates in continuous improvement efforts. Supports and helps to implement new ideas.--- Knows and follows all safety requirements; strives to maintain a safe work environment.--- Effectively gives and receives feedback.Job Requirements:Education:--- Bachelor's degree required plus 7-10 years related work experienceExperience:--- Minimum 5 years manufacturing experienceFunctional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:--- Performs detailed tasks requiring high math skills.--- Performs tasks requiring effective communication skills--- Possesses the ability to use the computer system for departmental functions.--- Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgroundsTarget Hiring Range: $0.00 - $0.00Actual compensation is commensurate with experience, skills and education.
