Job Description:
The Common Solutions Service Business Unit is seeking a highly
motivated candidate who has the technical and business acumen to
succeed in a Services Product Line Management (PLM) role. The
candidate should be passionate about driving technical programs and
contribute to value creation for unique service products and
capabilities.Role requires knowledge of semiconductor industry and
experience with equipment modules, such as robotics and controls.
Should be familiar with marketing practices and navigating business
processes to address internal and external issues. Able to perform
analysis and formulate strategies to solve complex problems and
drive business impact. Define and drive service programs using
product life cycle methodology. Work independently with minimal
guidance, acting as a resource for colleagues with less
experience.This position can be located in Santa Clara, CA, Austin,
TX, Chandler, AZ, Hillsboro, OR or Boise, ID.Key
Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze key service and spares business areas.
Estimate and recommend investments based on service and support
needs.
- Own service roadmaps applicable to common parts and modules and
their implementation using PLC principles.
- Development and implementation of service continuity strategies
including part obsolescence, replacements, and forecasting
models.
- Incorporate marketing requirements, business processes and
elements of technical design to commercialize service
solutions.
- Provide guidance on pricing, spares strategies, and restricted
part orders. Manage service and spares continuity.
- Facilitate intercompany communication to align on service
product roadmaps and market proliferation.
- Interface and coordinate with cross functional teams to define
project objectives, provide status updates and prepare for release
and deployment.
- Identify and resolve potential conflicts within projects and
develops solutions for resolution.Functional Knowledge
- General knowledge of Semiconductor Equipment. Specific
knowledge of Server Controls and Robotics is preferred.Business
Expertise
- Knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with
others; is aware of the competition and the factors that
differentiate them in the market.
- 2+ years of experience in Program Life Cycle Management
environment.
- Previous experience working in business operational environment
is essential.
- Exposure to marketing, sales and semiconductor equipment
support areas are desirable.Leadership

projects to manage resources and risks. Proven track of record of
leading projects or programs.Problem Solving
- Presentation skills, attention to detail, and strong analysis
skills are critical. Solve complex problems; exercise judgment

- Education: Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline,
